VMware have created a blog about virtualization on the Mac platform, and how it’s “changing the way people interact with their Macs and PCs” - their words. While this blog is obviously primarily a marketing tool for VMware, it is an interesting place to start if you want to see what others have managed to do with Fusion on their Macs.
You can check it out here.
Fusion, of course, is essentially VMware’s Workstation product for the Mac, allowing Windows, Linux, and almost any other Intel Virtual Machines to be hosted on a Mac. VMware also have a large range of pre-built Appliances that you can download and run immediately under Fusion.
Even more useful perhaps is the VMware Fusion Community. The community site is more of a portal with Product Announcements, FAQs, and Discussions about how various users are solving Fusion issues or challenges they come across.
Lastly, there’s always VMware’s Knowledge Base, where you can search specifically for Fusion related articles by specifying ‘Fusion’ in the Product search criteria.
Very useful technical resources if nothing else. Check it out. ![]()
