1.1.4 is out… but DON’T upgrade just yet! (Updated)

As you may have noticed, Apple has released a new version of firmware - 1.1.4 - for the iPhone via iTunes. So, if you’ve unlocked your phone, in spite of the temptation… I highly recommend you don’t upgrade at this stage. So far, the only thing we know for sure about what’s in this release is that it contains ‘bug fixes’, and that the current hacking tools (e.g. ZiPhone) only partially work.

iPhone WiFi Problems (aka greyed-out “No WiFi”)

Any-version iPhone Unlocking Tool?

Hot on the heels of the George Hots hack for OTB 1.1.2 and 1.1.3 phones, it appears that Zibri has release a tool called ZiPhone. Apparently, his software is based on George’s hack and previous exploits, and is designed to unlock any released version of iPhone!
