Fusion Is Latest Way For Macs to Operate Windows, PC Software

August 5, 2007

Walt Mossberg on VMware’s new Fusion product. Is being able to run Windows on the Mac (in multiple ways) the key to the new growth in Mac sales?
“In classrooms and offices, homes and coffee shops, Macs are far more visible in the U.S. than they were just a few years ago. Vista use grows as Mac OS X stays flat…Really?

July 24, 2007

An article appearing on the NZ Computerworld site by Gregg Keizer Framingham seems to suggest that Vista uptake is outstriping Mac OSX:

“Windows Vista’s share of online users has increased every month this year, while rival Mac OS X — to which Vista has often been compared — has shown little, if any, growth, a metrics company reports.”
